Fee Schedules
Review the applicable fee schedule before submitting permit applications. Fee schedules are reviewed and updated annually by the Board of Supervisors.
Requirements & Application Checklist
Review township permit requirements and complete the application checklist before submitting materials to the Township Office. New structures, additions, signs, fences, driveways, and accessory structures typically require permits. Zoning approval is generally not required for interior renovations or alterations that do not expand or change use.
For land subdivision or development projects, follow township and Berks County submission procedures.

Permit Applications
Use the forms and resources below. Most items are PDF downloads—complete and submit to the Township Office unless noted otherwise. The Request for Zoning Interpretation uses an external online form. Contact the Code Enforcement Officer with questions.
Permits
A $75.00 non-refundable fee will be due at the time of filing a Zoning Permit.
Before review begins by the Engineer the applicant must pay the review fees for a Plumbing, Mechanical, Driveway, Building, and Electrical Permit, estimate will be provided to applicant, a $70.00 non-refundable application fee is also due at the time of filing.

Plan Recording Rule (PA Municipalities Planning Code, Act 1968)
The developer must record the final plat within 90 days of final approval or delivery of the signed plat. The plan must note governing body approval and county planning agency review. The Township must be copied on recording of plan.
